RK. Heliski proudly supplies our skiers with a variety of powder skis, which make all the difference for first time heli-skiers when skiing in the deep powder snow. For advanced & expert skiers, these skis will allow you to charge harder and faster! Our ski fleet consists of Armada JJ UL (ultra light).
The use of our snowboards is included with all of our packages. We offer a variety of sizes, lengths and styles. Our snowboards are supplied by Burton Snowboards. You can of course use your own!
This is a standard in the heliski industry and included in your package. All guests are required to wear a light weight backpack containing an avalanche probe, shovel and radio.
All of RK. Heliski guests will be issued with a Pulse Barryvox S transceiver. It is an intuitive and easy to use unit. Prior to departure, all guests are required to take part in a Companion Rescue safety briefing and practice these skills around the RK. Heliski property.
In the unlikely event of an avalanche, the user can deploy an inflated balloon that will improve buoyancy in the moving snow. These packs will also contain a shovel, probe and radio. These packs are available for rent to guests skiing or snowboarding with RK. Heliski.
