Booking Process

If and when you’re ready to book, each participant will need to go through our 4-step booking process by clicking on a link that we will provide you with. This will take you 2 minutes to complete.

Step 1: Read and agree to our digital Wilderness Activity Waiver (Industry standard).
Step 2: Fill out the booking form and submit. RK. Heliski will then process payment.
Step 3: Familiarize yourself with our welcome package and sample forms that are required to be filled out the day(s) of your Heliski adventure.
Step 4: View our optional interactive Heliski safety briefings.
LINK – We will provide this to you when you’re ready to book. If you are more than a party of one, we will need the name(s) and email addresses(s) of those joining you.

RK. Heliski’s policy (industry standard), is that all participants must read and agree (Step 1 & 2) to the digital Release of Liability Waiver prior to arrival. Failure to do so will result in your booking being cancelled.

Minor Policy

Our company policy is that guests need to be a minimum of 14 years and older to heliski and heliboard with us. If they are between the ages of 14 and 18 years old a parent or guardian must accompany them when skiing at all times.

An assumption of guardianship letter will need to be signed by the parent of the minor.
A second waiver will also be signed by both the minor and the parent/guardian.

Full payment is due at the time of booking for:

3 & 5 Run Powder Adventures
Bell 212 / ASTAR Semi Private Packages

A 50% non-refundable deposit is due upon booking for:

Bell 212 / ASTAR Private Platinum Packages
Full payment is due 10 weeks prior to your first ski day.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

Heliski package deposits/payments are non-refundable in whole or in part. If you choose to stop skiing prior to completing your package on any given day no refund will be issued for the un-skied runs. All skiers are expected to be in suitable physical condition to complete your purchased number of runs in your package. In the event that you have not purchased trip cancellation insurance and you are unable to ski on your confirmed ski date, RK. Heliski will not be held responsible for refunding any portion of your payments received. Payments received are non-transferable to other RK. Heliski programs.

Weather or Mechanical No-Fly Days - If inclement weather, mechanical reasons or avalanche conditions prevents the helicopter from flying on your designated day, you will be provided with a partial or full refund based on the following conditions:

1. If RK. Heliski cancels on the day of your trip, we will try and re-book you if possible. If RK. Heliski is unable to re-book, clients can either opt for a full refund or apply payment towards an excursion for a later date. Refunds will be issued in the same manner as the original payment. Direct refunds will be issued to travel agents for agency bookings.
2. If RK. Heliski cancels the day after breakfast and our mandatory safety training, a $65.00 + GST(5%) administration fee will apply. Clients can either request RK. Heliski refund the balance or apply the remaining balance towards an excursion for a later date.
3. In the event that RK. Heliski has proceeded with your day but the guaranteed number of runs could not be achieved. RK. Heliskiwill refund you $250.00 + GST(5%), for each run not completed.

Important! If inclement weather, mechanical reasons or avalanche conditions prevents the helicopter from flying on your designated day, any transportation costs from Banff or Lake Louise will not be refunded.

Trip Cancellation Insurance - Acera Travel - We recommend that guests seek insurance through an insurance broker or Acera Travel. Please be sure that you are covered and are familiar with our cancellation policy.
