Powder skis & snowboards
RK Heliski proudly supplies our skiers with a variety of powder skis, which make all the difference for first time heli-skiers when skiing in the deep powder snow. For advanced & expert skiers, these skis will allow you to charge harder and faster! Our ski fleet consists of Armada JJ’s.
The use of our snowboards is included with all of our packages. We offer a variety of sizes, lengths and styles. Our snowboards are supplied by Burton and Nitro Snowboards. You can of course use your own!

Safety guest packs
All guests are required to wear a light weight backpack containing of an avalanche probe and shovel. This is the industry standard. Hand held radios are also provided.
Pulse Barryvox S Transceivers
All of RK's guests will be issued with a Pulse Barryvox S transceiver (beacon). This brand new state of the art transceiver model is commonly used by mechanized skiing companies. It is an intuitive and easy to use unit. Prior to departure, all guests are required to take part in a Companion Rescue safety briefing and practice these skills around the RK Heliski property.
Mammut Inflatable airbag packs
An emergence into the mechanized skiing industry are the use of inflatable "Air-Bag" Packs or Inflatable "Balloon" Packs. In the unlikely event of an avalanche, the user can deploy an inflated balloon that will improve buoyancy in the moving snow. These packs will also contain a shovel, probe and radio. These packs are available for rent* to guests skiing or snowboarding with RK Heliski.
